Located about 1.5 miles away from Paul B Johnson State Park(225 acres of lake) which also includes a variety of outdoor activities, hiking, and relaxation. It is also a 20 minute drive to USM which makes the perfect place to spend a weekend right outside of the heart of Downtown Hattiesburg.

Anna Kay’s Lake Chalet House Rules & Regulations: - Must be 25 years of age to book - No more than 2 guests are allowed without consent from the host - We love hosting guests with their furry companions. A one-time $89 pet fee per pet applies and helps cover additional cleaning, including pet hair removal, to keep the home clean and comfortable for all guests. - Excessive noise and music are not permitted - Absolutely no smoking allowed inside of the property - Candles, incense and outside fires are not permitted -We kindly ask that pets stay off all furniture, including beds, sofas, and chairs. This helps us maintain a clean and comfortable space for all our guests. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

This place was a lifesaver for my husband and I. Our hotel reservations in Hattiesburg were messed up so we had to find somewhere to stay quickly. Their response was quick and we went right to the place. It was clean, neat, and peaceful. We plan to return and stay longer.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our trip an extra day just to soak in the peace and quiet. Our booking was very last minute, but Bret and Malorie responded incredibly quickly and made the entire process smooth and stress free, which we truly appreciated. The property was exactly as pictured, very clean, cozy, private, and perfect for relaxing and getting some fresh air. We spent most of our time enjoying the calm atmosphere instead of going out. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals comfortably, which made the stay even better. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, this is definitely the place. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again.

Brett and Malarie’s place was very clean and a great place to stay. The cabin was very close to my son and daughter in laws house which was very nice. The communication Brett and malarie was great. If we had anything to ask them they would get right back to you within ten minutes or less.

Brett and Malarie’s place was quiet and comfortable. This was a work trip so having access to cell service and internet was essential. We had no trouble connecting to cell service and the internet was fast and reliable. Since this was a work trip, we were only there in the early morning and at the end of the day. The end of the day was beautiful. The nearby park with a huge lake was a real treat. Brett & Malarie were perfect hosts, and we’d stay there again.

Brett & Malarie’s place was so accommodating to my husband and I while we transitioned between houses! We had to extend our stay twice and within 20 minutes they were able to let us know their availability and extend the stay. Not only did the home provide all kitchen necessities and laundry, it has a beautiful bedroom and bathroom! Thank you for providing us with some peace and comfort while we waited for closing; We would definitely stay with Brett & Malarie again!

We stayed for a weekend quick trip while friend was at Camp Shelby for drill. The driveway was a little hard to find at night (was worried I had arrived to someone’s house and not to the airbnb lol) but otherwise no issues whatsoever. The home is located on the backside of a private property. Very clean, easy to communicate with. Would stay again.
